Csoport-téka Association is a non-governmental organization founded in 2001. year. Its founders and its members are social workers, drama educators, labour-force market advisers, psychologists and supporting members.


Our Association runs such a social enterprise with the support of NESsT-portfolio, the aim of which is to support their social integration of the members of underprivileged groups with and to fight their disadvantages.

For, this, we accomplish our programs, we provide our services, contact net we are building connection-web in Hungary and abroad.


We are continuously looking for such specialists and organisations, for whom equal opportunity, tolerance for diversity, cooperation, managing regulation and change in processes and partner relation and customer service orientation in services are all important and practice in their connections.

 

We have been working with full-time experts since 2008. As accredited rehabilitative employing work-place, we currently have 8 employees, 3 of whom employees with disabilities.


Our fields of work:

We run our activities on two levels in most cases. We deal with the members of one of underprivileged groups on the one hand; on the other hand, with specialists who help these groups.

1. Educational and job searching programs

Our main profile is to develop social skill and key-ability, and to teach job-searching techniques in an individual way and in a grouped training way for job-hunters on the one hand for the specialists dealing with them on the other hand.

The elements of the Job-hunter Club

The Association has been running a job-seeker a club in different districts of Budapest, Hungary since 2002. Earlier, we helped hundreds of clients to create opportunity of work; co-operating with family-support services of 7th, 8th and 10th district.

The service-elements of the Job-seeker Club:
giving information about labour-market,
personal consultation,
training about job-seeking techniques and developing skills,
career orientation and carrier correction counselling,
psychological-psychiatric counselling;
the opportunity to practice computer technology and English

Beside this, we provide the opportunity to find  the actual position and to apply for it: advertising newspapers, connection via telephone and Internet.

The considerable part of our clientèle has low or non-up-to-date educational skills or they are job-hunters for a longer time, mothers are over 45 years. The number is very high among those who live off of temporary jobs or have health problems or are disabled, and are gipsy job-hunters or are mothers with a baby.

Last year, we mostly helped registered job-hunters to settle to an occupation with mentoration, who are given support as a highly disadvantaged person in one of the 8 offices from two regions of Central Hungarian Regional Employment office.

So far this year, we have had contract with 3 offices in the same region for counselling and giving about labour-market and employment.

All our services aim to make clients look for job in an active way with using their own power.

Preventional work with youth groups in practise

The aim of the training is to train social experts in the topic of prevention with approaching it from different views and giving different methods.

The training consists of 20 lessons, which are held on 4 occasions and are worth 12 credits.

Supplying techniques of job-hunting to experts dealing with durable job-hunters

The aim of the training is to supply practical techniques of dynamic solution- and change-oriented consultation.

The training consists of 30 lessons, which are held on 3 occasions and are worth 25 credits!

3. Counselling, labour-market information for firms, organisations

3.1. Rehabilitational consultation: information required in connection with employing disabled ones

3.2. Equal-opportunity consultation

We help to write equal-opportunity plan for applications, we monitor fulfilling it

Individual and group training employees and employers of firms: presenting information and skill-development on equal-opportunity.

3.3. Preparing for employment accreditation

Information about changes of law, preparation for the new accreditation system. We go around it during the counselling, what kind of organizational changes the new system may demand?

4. Prevention groups

We hold prevention groups the young, young adults, and we share it during a prevention workshop and we supply our experiences and our methods with colleagues dealing with them.

The aim of our prevention programs is - on the one hand - in order for that the young to get suitable information about addictions and possibility of getting and requesting help; - on the other hand - we wish to show alternatives about solving stress situations and spending spare time. We deal with developing basic social skills of participating young people and adults during the trainings. Our aim is to let them acquire such behavioural and communicational skills, which will useful in solving their daily problems and treating their conflicts.

Since 2001, We have been running acting groups for young-teenagers in Youth Club of City of Budaörs Városi Ifjúsági Klub as part of our prevention program. We run an acting camp every summer in Zichy-farm of Budaörs together with Artist Association of Budaörs.

5. Creative work-group

  • If requested, we collaborate in keeping craft workshops on other organisations' programs.
  • we organize family-day program
  • We run festive preparations of doing craft-work for the Association's members
  • Creative commando: Our association's young artists make youth clubs, clubs, exhibitional places friendlier together with Somogyi Ferenc. Discussing with our customers, we take planning pictures and constructing it in a qualitative way.

6. International programs

  • In June 2009, we took part as facilitators in training called „Unemployment: I don't have a job but I'm working on it” which was organized by SALTO Inclusion RC and the Portuguese National Agency, which was organized for specialists of EU-countries dealing with young job-hunters with underprivileged background.
